Confessionsof a Shopaholic is a movie about a woman called Rebecca Bloomwood that loves shopping.

She works as journalis tat a gardening magazine and herdream is to work at the Allete magazine.

On the way to an interview with the Allete magazine she buys a green scarf but her credit card is declined, so she goes to a hot dog stand and offers to buy all the hot dogs if the man gives her back money, the man didn’t accepted but another man gives her $20.

When she arrives at the interview the position was already been filled, so she goes to another interview with the Successful Saving magazine with a man called Luke Brandonw hogives her $20.

  In the evening, drunk, she and her sister write letters to the Allete and the Successful Saving magazine, but she sends the emails to the wrong magazine but Luke likes the letter that she wants to mail to the other magazine and hires
her as a columnist.

In a clothing sale she had an idea for the colum that becomes a success.

She joinin Shopaholics Anonymous.

  Rebecca decides to donate all her clothes.

Duringan interview she was accused of not paying her debts and loses her job.

The Allete magazine offer she an interview for a job in the magazine but she declines.

She sells her clothes to pay her debts.

She pay her debts.

  Rebecca starts datin gwith Luke and she starts working at Luke’s new company.

The movie we saw in class is very interesting because it shows comparisons with the reality of the destruction of nature that we are causing.

                       For example:

-  Pollution from factories. Picture, the more     clothes the character in the movie bought more is produced in factories that pollute more.

-  The death of the animals that produce wool. The more clothes she was bought, more wool is produced and more wool-producing animals were killed.

                     

                         Reflection:

 So that makes us think that if we do not change fast we destroy nature, with animal life and therefore human life.
