3R´s reduce, reuse and recycle




Recycle: Recycle means to process old, used items in order that the material can be used to make new products. Examples of things that are often recycled are glass, plastic, newspapers

Reduce: reduce refers to lessening the amount of items or resources that are consumed, using only the amount that is needed, and looking for alternatives that will lessen our use.

Reuse: And reuse means extending the 'life' or repurposing an item rather than discarding or throwing it away.

As Becky Bloomwood can help the planet?


Becky Bloom is a beautiful and funny girl. She had every that she want, too much clothes, shoes, accessories, everything that have glamour and style. But, have a problem, Becky buy more things that she can, so, she owes money to the bank. There are things that she can do to improve this, and one of this is use the three “r”. First, she reduces the things that she buys.
It’s not necessary buy one million shoes for example, the correct thing is buy only the things that you really needs. Second, she can recycles her clothes gaving to people who need it most and not throw away or just leaving in your closet.
And, finally reuse her clothes, using their otherwise, for example a shirt that is small, can be a top. Other thing is sell the parts that do not use more. These things are little, but can change the world





In our life

The first stage in reducing the amount of garbage, is to reduce the amount of what we consume. We have that to only buy what we need and not what we find "cool" to enter in " fashion"

Imagine if we could use at least once more the things we consume, how we would be reuse household garbage! To reuse we can transform an ordinary plastic bottle into a pencil holder. Reusing we help the planet
After avoid consuming unnecessary things, reusing others, now is time to think about recycling. Many materials can be recycled and each by a different technique.

  The movie is about a girl who is shopaholic, and has a lot of clothes, but what she just doesn’t realize is: Those clothes she buys all the time are very bad for the nature, and a person doesn’t need so many clothes. The planet is needing help, and we have to be conscious about it, and always remember to recycle, reuse and reduce. 

   

 the environment is becoming one of the most important dimensions of human life. The Society is based on production and consumption, creating uncertainty about the possibility of inventing or reward  the problems caused by industrial modernization.   

Let's recycle :

 If we recicle plastic bags and bottles we can even make c lothes, so Becky Bloom could buy clothes without damaging nature. 

*Reuse is a great way of saving the planet, from a bag to an old couch !

If we reduce our purchases, we will have less garbage, the biggest problem in the world

Confessions of a Shopaholic 

In the movie “Confessions of a shopaholic” Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a compulsive shooper and she doesn’t really care about the consequences it has in the world. Today, being like that is really bad because the world is facing a crise right now and it needs a lot of help. But she could change that lifestyle using:

The 3Rs in her routine:    

-Reducing­­__Buying less clothes and accessories and using her own things.

-Reusing__She could use her clothes more than just one time and organize jumbles to sell her clothes to other people who could use them better or she could also donate them.

-Recycling__The clothes which are torn or old she may use them to other purposes like: a blouse could become a floor cloth; a torn jacket could become a scarf; an earing without a pair could be a brooch. Or she could also give those pieces to a recycling company.

There is also other thing we can see, Rebecca was using a fur and to make this coat, an animal had to die. If Rebecca didn’t buy the fur it will not make a huge diference, but if a lot o people stop buying those kind of things, fewer animals will be killed, so her act of not buying furs can help the world but she will need help from other people too.

What Rebecca Bloomwood can change in her life?

   Rebecca Bloomwood, is a shopaholic, and she has a lot of things to get better in her actions, to have a clean environment.

   She can be conscious, for example buying fewer clothes, only what she really needs, because no one needs so many clothes. If she buys fewer clothes, she wouldn't have to worry about her money, and it would help the planet, because every single shoes and clothes have a bag, which always go to a trash can.

   Once she had already bought all of those clothes, she could give some of them to people who really need them, like homeless for example. In the film, she sells her clothes, which is wrong in my opinion, because other people buy in an exaggerated way. In the picture we put up, Becky is looking at her big collection of clothes she doesn't use.

The 3R's in the movie

  In the film " Confessions of a Shopaholic " the main character Becky Bloom has an addiction to shopping and and this habit can harm the environment, then one way to solve this problem is to use the 3R's (reduce, recycle and reuse) to reduce the impact on the world, thus:

   Reduce: In the movie she buys many unnecessary things and end up forgetting a lot of them, this is extremely bad for the environment. She could define the shopping for only what you need and use the money left over things.

   Recycle: She could get the things that were not suited for it and turn it by recycling things that would be useful to her, reducing waste in the world.

   Reuse: She could donate the clothes she no longer wants to charities, so they have a gazebo so without harming the environment.

R.R.R.

   We can't be like the woman in the movie. In the movie, in one day, she bought 15 clothes, in the next day, more 15 clothes, and in the next day, more 15 clothes!

   Do you know what we can do about this problem? We can reuse. If we buy 15 clothes every day the world will be done in five years! But if we buy ten cloths, and use these clothes for 6 months, and then think in buy another clothe, the world will carry on.

   In the world of the movie, the woman wanted to buy 97 hot-dogs! Do you think she would eat it all?!

   So please guys, before we buy something, lets think, " do you really need that"? And lets reduce, recycle and reuse to save the world!
